COMPLETE ENTRY LEVEL !!  Master the basics of diving.  Learn how to plan and conduct your own dives, buddy diving and communication and navigation skills.  In all, the course consists of five knowledge modules, five confined water dives and four open water sea dives.  The fun and excitement is endless!  Can be completed in four days.

FINISH IT OFF HERE !!  Complete the first part of the PADI Open Water Diver Course, (i.e. theory and confined water training) in a swimming pool at a PADI Centre near your home.

Collect your Referral Form from your U.K. PADI Instructor and pass it to your resort PADI Instructor.  Complete the rest of your course, the remaining 4 open water dives, in the clear, warm waters of Menorca.

On successful completion of the dives you will be awarded your final certification as a qualified P.A.D.I. Open Water Diver.

Menorca has been home to cavern diving training for many, many years now, offering numerous caverns ideal for those interested in taking those first steps towards cave diving.
Doing this course shows a good understanding and maturity of attitude with regards to diving in overhead environments. It provides essential foundation for further training.

Course Outline

Day 1

1 Open Water  - Line laying, Air sharing, Backed out Mask drills, Fin techniques, Communications

1 Cavern - As assistant

Upon completing the course you will have learnt basic gas management skills, line laying, emergency procedures and communications

This course is the prerequisite to any full cave diving course.  Even if you don’t intend to advance further into full cave diving, the course will still improve your own personal diving skills in open water.

*Students are required to bring their own standard scuba diving equipment plus one reel and two torches.  Please advise if you need to rent any of these items in resort. 12lt Cylinder (air fill) and weights are included.
